Animal Print Trends

Animal Prints are in full effect this summer and will be going strong for fall/winter 2011. These prints are ranging from the usual brown and camel animal prints to turquoise, pink, grey, and red animals prints. This year, designers are taking it a step further and putting animal print on formal black tie evening gowns. There’s also really pretty animal print chiffon fabrics and satin fabrics that have been applied to romper and jumpsuits styles.

If you are not as daring to wear animal print dresses or tops, start with small details like an animal print scarf and push the envelope with some animal print shoes.

Fashion Review: Met Costume Ball 2011

Last night on the red carpet at the Met Costume Ball, there was a lot of celebs with designers and lots of fierceness in their fashion choices. There were a lot of beautiful gowns worn, but because of styling mistakes (i.e. celebs wearing the wrong dress color to suit their skin) and some celebs wearing ugly dresses, I could only pick out a few looks that I could say “wow omg!”. So here are my top picks from last night’s event.

Wear Blush Pink This Spring

This spring season, as always the trend is bright and happy colors. The most popular color that you will probably see the most will be the blush pink or anything in the pink spectrum.
